As ações do serviço social no âmbito do Serviço de Proteção e Atendimento Integral à Família – PAIF - no CRAS de Montenegro-RS, e seu impacto na realidade socioeconômica das famílias atendidas

Abstract

Os Centro de Referência de Assistência Social (CRAS) são unidades públicas estatais de referência de rede de social básica, sendo o PAIF o seu principal serviço. Seu público usuário são as famílias a ele referenciadas, em situação de vulnerabilidade social, as quais são atendidas em demandas de capacitação profissional, além de acesso a serviços, programas e benefícios, sendo O objetivo da presente pesquisa foi investigar os impactos da atuação do Serviço Social, no âmbito do CRAS, da cidade de Montenegro-RS. Para tanto, foi adotada a pesquisa bibliográfica e documental, de caráter qualitativo. Os resultados indicam que, na unidade investigada, existe um esforço para inclusão e acesso a planos de ação e a atendimentos que são desenvolvidos pela assistente social naquele equipamento. A materialização de tais iniciativas são abrangentes e incluem ações que são realizadas pelas famílias, em parceria com a instituição, de modo a promover a melhor abordagem da problemática identificada e estimular uma participação ativa dos indivíduos atendidos na busca de soluções.

The Social Assistance Reference Centers (CRAS) are state public reference units for the basic social network, with PAIF being their main service. Such institutions are spaces financed by the federal government in partnership with the municipalities, in which families in social vulnerability are served in demands for professional training, access to government financial benefits and psychosocial care. The aim of this research was to investigate the effects of CRAS in the city of Montenegro, in Rio Grande do Sul. For this purpose, a qualitative bibliographic and documentary research was adopted. The results indicate that, in the investigated unit, there is an effort to include the whole family in action plans that are developed by the social worker. Such plans are comprehensive and include actions that are carried out by families, in partnership with the institution, in order to promote the best approach to the identified problem and to encourage the active participation of the individuals served in the search for solutions.
