2007), Harvey (2008), Lefebvre (1968), Moll (2019), LDBEN 9394/1996, BNCC (2017),
a temática.
This dissertation, linked to the Graduate Program in Education and New Technologies of the International University Center(UNINTER),under the research line Teacher Training and New Technologies, presents as the theme: "Elements for initial teacher education in Early Childhood Education on Educating Cities". Based on the academicscientific research available in the Database of Theses catalogue and Dissertations of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), and in the Brazilian Digital Library (BDTD/IBCT), in the time frame from 2010 to 2020, the guiding problem proposes the following question: What elements about educational cities can support the development of a guide for initial teacher training in Early Childhood Education. To answer this question, the general objective listed is: To identify elements about educating cities for the elaboration of an initial teacher training guide in Early Childhood Education. This study constitutes exploratory research, with a qualitative approach, using the bibliographic and documentary methodology to perform the State of the Art. Authors such as Romanowski and Ens (2006), Nóvoa (1999), Favoreto (2013), Santos (2006), 2007), Harvey (2008), Lefebvre (1968), Moll (2019), LDBEN 9394/1996, BNCC (2017), Letter of Educating Cities (1990, 2004, 2020), among others researching the theme. The State-of-the-Art research was carried out based on the descriptors "Educating Cities", "Educational Territory" correlated with "Early Childhood Education" and "Teacher Training". We found 45 papers in the area of Education, of these, 12 theses and 33 dissertations were analyzed through the content analysis of Bardin (1977), based on the summary of the works. Only 5 studies found are aimed at initial teacher training. The subjects with the highest predominance in published studies are cultural identity, integral education and exploitation of the territory as educational spaces. With this, and in order to bring to light the importance of the use of educational spaces that go beyond the walls of the school, it is necessary to emphasize the task that teachers must assume in the face of the need for constant training in an attempt to house all the conceptual elements brought by the AICE Charter (2020). This carte cites the Educating Cities as teaching and learning spaces, elements that were applied in the development of a Guide for Early Childhood Education Teachers on Educating Cities. The subject of educating cities alone is recent, although the concept has been developing foryears, the interest in knowing and adopting the city as an educational space is part of modernity, being intrinsically linked to issues such as citizenship, democracy, rights, dignity, criticality, established in recent documents that support education in Brazil. It is indicated that more studies on the subject are developed in favor of a more human and fraternal collectivity.
