Ela faz parte
do PPGENT e do grupo de pesquisa Simuladores Computacionais e Robótica
Educacional.
estudante aplicar as habilidades e competências desenvolvidas no decorrer do
curso aliando a teoria à prática.
This dissertation has as its theme the use of a simulator for a Superior Professional Research Course in the distance modality. She is part of PPGENT and the Computer Simulators and Educational Robotics research group. The main product of this research is the investigation simulator with the purpose of applying the knowledge obtained by students throughout the Professional Investigation course through cases frequently solved by detectives or private investigators. It is known that the use of simulators in education is not new, however, for the investigation course it is something innovative because there is nothing similar on the market. This research is justified because the specific simulator for the area of professional investigation is innovative and meets the need for non-mandatory supervised internships for Higher Technology Courses. In order to develop this research, it was necessary to carry out a survey of the most common cases and frequently solved by detectives or private investigators. This research will make use of a descriptive research during the data analysis process related to the applied questionnaires, where the data will be worked allowing to analyze the tool viability (simulator) and the employed methodology, it can be classified as qualitative or interpretive. Regarding the procedures, the research was developed according to the design science research characterized by a prescription-oriented research program, with its focus on solving the problem. The instruments used for data collection were the use of a survey with Likert questions to identify students' perceptions about the simulator, as well as the use of the Delphi technique to assess the perception of specialists about the simulator regarding its effectiveness. Thus, data were collected from students of the professional investigation course and detectives. This simulator helps the student's teaching-learning process, allowing access to cases to be investigated in the exercise of their profession, enabling the student to apply the skills and competences developed during the course, combining theory with practice.
