The present work, titled Early Childhood Education: Innovative Practices in Contemporaneity – the Right to the City with Enhanced Looks of Citizenship in Childhood, seeks to understand how early childhood education teachers in São Bento do Sul/SC perceive and/or conceive the city in its pedagogical practices. Together, we tried to reflect on how it is possible to engage teachers in innovative techniques involving children's families in everyday movements. We reflected on the territory from the city’s perspective as a learning context and as an object of knowledge (BERNET, 1997). The general objective is to develop an educational product, a supporting textbook based on mapping some locations in the city. Thus, our gaze focused on the child's surroundings, identifying some significant relevant elements to support the creation of teaching-learning relationships. The objective was also to reflect on the offer of early childhood education based on the right to full-time education from the perspective of thinking about expanding learning contexts. We sought to look deeply at the city and the possible relationships from the potentialities existing there while reflecting with various theorists through a literature review on the theme and the multiple ways these learning relationships take place in different contexts. These reflections are necessary to bring possibilities and alternative solutions, emerging new ways to expand this formation path of the subject in contemporary times. This bias, which seeks to understand and think reality, reveals to us the new paradigms presented within the perspective of the concept of "Educating City."
