This dissertation is part of the Strictu Sensu Masters and Professional Doctorate in Education and New Technologies Graduate Program at the Centro Universitario Internacional (Uninter) [International University Center]. Its main objective was the teacher training, through the production of an educational live, presented via YouTube, aimed at early childhood education teachers in a county, in the State of Paraná, focusing on the theme of human rights education, especially regarding citizenship, based on the assumption of training, to inform and empower early childhood education professionals. For this purpose, studies about Brazilian laws and official documents on early childhood and those related to human rights education in the country were used. In addition to the documents, authors such as: Freire (1980, 1987), Saviani (1986, 1997, 2017), Libâneo (2011), Nóvoa (2017), Candau (1999, 2001, 2013, 2014), Gatti (2010), Cunha (2013), among others, were essential in the dissertation’s theoretical basis, and Feenberg (2001, 2003, 2004), with their assumptions of the Critical Theory of Technology aimed at the society as a theoretical and methodological foundation. The findings showed, through the analysis and discussion about the proposed objectives, great participation results; it was observed that, following the publication of the live, there were participant’s sharing and 741 views, in addition, there were an active participation through the chat and 85 likes in the live recording. It is believed that the lack of approach to the theme of human rights in training for citizenship from early childhood education leaves a large gap regarding personal training, and studies like this can deepen the discussions on education in and for human rights, as Brazilian official documents that address this issue are relatively new in the country’s education. It should be noted that the live, which is the product of this dissertation in this Professional Graduate Program, contributes to the idea of a more humanized education, where we believe in the power of education as a tool for liberation and social transformation for training that respects diversity.
