This dissertation, developed within the scope of the Professional Master's Degree in Education and New Technologies at UNINTER and aligned with the research group "Relations between Education, Technology, Humanism, and Ethics," investigates the continuing education of teachers in technical nursing courses, with a focus on the integration between technology and humanization. The study is based on the assumption that the advancement of Digital Technologies (DTs), combined with the ethical and human demands of nursing practice, presents new challenges to teaching in technical professional education. The research is grounded in a systematic literature review (2020–2025), documentary analysis of curricula and pedagogical projects from nursing technical courses offered across all regions of Brazil, and the development of a training guide as an educational product. Strategies for continuing education were identified that value reflective practice, the use of active methodologies, the development of digital competencies, and the promotion of empathy and care. Virtual learning environments (VLEs), clinical simulations, and augmented reality resources are highlighted as technological tools that, when used with pedagogical intentionality, can enhance learning. However, it is observed that many educators enter technical teaching without specific pedagogical training, reinforcing the importance of institutional policies that support in-service continuing education. The study concludes that teacher education must promote a balance between innovation and sensitivity, overcoming a content-centered and instrumental logic. In this context, continuing education emerges as a space for listening, dialogue, and knowledge reconstruction, reaffirming the role of the teacher as a transformative agent committed to the quality of healthcare and the ethical and critical training of future nursing professionals.
