A formação de professores e os direitos humanos nos currículos de cursos de pedagogia de universidades no Paraná

Abstract

A educação em direitos humanos é um campo relativamente novo no Brasil, mesmo com destaque internacional sobre o assunto. Representa um instrumento em prol da valorização dos princípios democráticos, tolerância e ética. A reflexão do tema no ensino superior, em especial no curso de Pedagogia, representa um passo inicial para a construção de uma cultura em direitos humanos. A legislação brasileira apresenta a necessidade da inclusão da educação em direitos humanos, porém, torna-se necessário que se faça presente também na formação dos professores, visto que estes são os responsáveis pelo desenvolvimento e implementação de métodos de educação formal e não formal em todos os níveis de ensino. O presente estudo objetiva analisar o Projeto Pedagógico de Curso, assim como as ementas do curso de Pedagogia em três universidades do estado do Paraná, apresentando a relevância dos estudos em direitos humanos na formação de professores. Assim, como tem objetivo de apresentar um curso de extensão intitulado “Formação Docente para Educação em Direitos Humanos”, disponibilizado por meio da plataforma digital Google Classroom. Organizou-se primeiramente pelo levantamento bibliográfico e documental, enquadrando-se na abordagem qualitativa com o principal objetivo da interpretação do fenômeno, trata-se de um estudo descritivo e exploratório que encontra alicerce em Sacristán (1995). Pode-se concluir que embora abordado nas referidas universidades analisadas, é necessário ampliar a educação em direitos humanos, visto que é um tema de grande importância e que necessita de capacitação por parte dos professores, para que seja transmitido de forma satisfatória aos alunos.

Human rights education is a relatively new field in Brazil, even with international prominence on the subject. Represents an instrument in favor of valuing democratic principles, tolerance and ethics. The reflection of the theme in higher education, especially in the Pedagogy course, represents an initial step towards the construction of a culture of human rights. Brazilian legislation presents the need for the inclusion of human rights education; however, it is necessary that it is also present in the training of teachers, since they are responsible for the development and implementation of formal and non-formal education methods in all levels of education. This study aims to analyze the Political Curriculum Project of the Pedagogy course in three universities in the state of Paraná, presenting the relevance of human rights studies in teacher education and analyzing the Political Curriculum Projects with regard to human rights. Thus, it aims to present an extension course entitled "Teacher Training for Human Rights Education", which will be made available through the Google classroom digital platform. Firstly, it was organized by the bibliographic and documentary survey, fitting in the qualitative approach with the main objective of interpreting the phenomenon; it is a descriptive and exploratory study that finds foundation in Sacristán (1998). It can be concluded that although addressed in the afore mentioned analyzed universities it is necessary to expand human rights education, as it is a topic of great importance and needs training on the part of teachers and to be transmitted in a satisfactory manner to students.
